What is an Uncover Peace event?
Every Uncover Peace event is a little different, but you can expect a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere with a thoughtful mix of:
Live readings from a book we have specially chosen to inspire the audience.
Time for reflection on the topic of the book
Live or recorded music
Time to simply listen, pause and enjoy
Refreshments and the opportunity to connect with others
There is nothing you need to know beforehand and nothing you need to prepare.
Everyone is welcome.
Words that invite reflection
At the heart of the events are words exploring some of the things that matter to all of us — peace, clarity, appreciation, self-understanding and what it means to make the most of being alive.
In the Autumn of 2026 we are going to be hearing selected readings from Breath: Wake Up to Life, by internationally recognised author and peace educator Prem Rawat. These readings can provide a starting point for reflection.
Simple, accessible and thought-provoking, the readings invite us to look at something we can sometimes overlook in the busyness of everyday life: ourselves.
Words. Music. A little space for you.
Uncover Peace isn't a lecture, a course or a formal book group.
It's an opportunity to enjoy an uplifting couple of hours in a friendly setting — to listen to some beautiful music, hear words worth thinking about and spend a little time away from the noise of everyday life.
You can participate as much or as little as you like.
Just come, relax and enjoy.
Free to attend
Our events are designed to be accessible to everyone and are free to attend.
If you enjoy the event and would like to help make future events possible, voluntary donations are warmly welcomed.
There is no obligation to donate.
